Having succesfully tendered for the refurbishment of 15,000 sq feet of office space in Hampshire, building Tecnics were keen to recycle as much waste products as possible. We were glad to find that Armstrong, who were the manufacturers of the original ceiling tiles that were being removed, ran an end of life recycling program. Once the tiles had been removed from the suspended ceiling grid they were palletised ready for dispatch. Armstrong sent their artic lorry to the site from a scheduled delivery at CCF Hedge End, and collected the pallets. The tiles are now at the Armstrong recycling plant. The whole operation was a great success and we would like to thank Armstrong and CCF ltd for their help with the project.
